I deliver impactful, inclusive, and data-informed policy advocacy.
I am Suraj Parajuli from Nepal, currently pursuing a Master of Global Affairs (Governance and Policy) at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, USA. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management from Pokhara University and have professional experience in public health research, community engagement, and public policy advocacy in Nepal.
Shaped by cross-cultural experiences across South Asia, Europe, Malawi, and the United States, my research sits at the intersection of public health, poverty, and the political economy of development. I focus on rigorous policy evaluation and how governance and inclusive institutions shape health and socioeconomic outcomes for marginalized populations. I aim to translate evidence and lived experience into practical solutions that strengthen institutions, expand opportunity, and build resilient, equitable communities.
Guided by a commitment to paying it forward, I remain actively engaged in community service and mentorship, particularly supporting young people in Nepal. I seek to contribute to development by strengthening the capacity of communities and the next generation of leaders to create lasting social impact.
